so what do you do with traffic in makati? you smoke! early in the morning at 8am. notice the patented yosi-in-left-hand-while-driving figure (see image above).

  • remember to open your windows
  • make sure you hold the stick tightly between your fingers so you won’t accidentally drop it.. or it might be too windy and you don’t want your yosi to be caught in it.. or some desperate person might steal it off your hand and run.
  • do not use the right hand. no effect whatsoever
  • do not keep the stick in your mouth. you have the right hand to steer with.
  • if you are driving stick-shift, practice quick transfer of control from steering wheel to gear-shift and vice versa using only the right hand.
  • keep the arm stretched at a 30-45 degree angle outside the window.
  • do not place the arm in an L-position (elbow on the window ledge, hand touching the car roof). you would look like you are hanging on for dear life.
  • flick cigarette ash while holding the stick above your head to avoid the ash falling back into the car. highly advisable to flick the ash as described when moving fast.
  • do not use the ash tray inside the car. it is only a nickname and is not meant to be taken literally.
  • if there are passengers that are smoking too, make sure that none of them are doing the figure. the driver has priority of executing the figure.
  • do not execute figure when it is raining.
  • practice

hehe..

p.s. happy birthday to my former yosi buddy reden!! :)
