dodi found another stupid way to quit smoking that just might work

day eleven

had dinner with map and jo tonight, with a cup of coffee after. i usually smoke with map during that, it really is easier to not think of smoking while you are with other people. this is getting far too easy for me, i bet the most trying times would not even occur during month one. anyway, so i already overcame idle times, mahjong sessions, coffee sessions and cold weather treatments. not bad, not bad.. at.. all.

so any withdrawal symptoms? hmm.. i coughed a bit yesterday where i tasted blood. but don’t worry, there was no blood no matter how much i spit. it must have been the nicotine. sleeping is a lot easier, but probably its because i’m always tired and have a significant lack of sleeping hours because of waiting. no more heartburns, less throbbing headaches also. i get hungry at the right time now too. in case you don’t know, smoking sometimes satisfies your hunger.. i don’t know if that happens to all smokers but i know relatives and friends who would admit to that. so if you smoke during lunch time or before dinner time or even early in the morning, your body clock thinks you already ate and delays the hunger for a few hours. how does it happen? the yosi smoke would be in the stomach and fooling it by using a disguise like “i am not a figment of your imagination, i am fumes of hot steaming nilagang baka”. of course, the gullible stomach would munch it and send it to the intestines and so on and be transformed to the mighty farts. but seriously, if you notice your smoker friends developing double chins then their smoking is affecting their eating habits. anyway, back to withdrawal symptoms, i do admit having a fancy for sweets more. i buy more pepsi/coke now and it would probably end up as the next habit to break. drinking more sodas than water and walking 5000 steps a day would make a nose dehydrated. i need some high-quality h20 most of the time. and lastly, breating is way better. less black boogers cleaned, less sipon (yes, even with the size of my nose i still get the common cold, kaya nga common eh), and the most important part less fatigue. whew.
